Well, Santa's here and the grotto is now officially open for business. Swing by the 6th floor at House of Fraser / Kendalls and pay him a visit. He's always happy to have visitors!

As you know House of Fraser in conjunction with Coronation Street are celebrating 175 years this month so there are lots of events and offers on throughout the store. It's coming to the end of the celebratory month, but next Thursday & Friday 25th & 26th there is a big brand event on. The store is open from 8am until 10pm and there are discounts offered throughout the store.

Here at One Small Step we are offering a whopping 20% off EVERYTHING. From tights to wellies, UGG's to Lelli Kellys, Geox to Ecco's. Max & May Winter Stock

This winter we are stocking this lovely Max & May
boot called 'Lily.' It's available in brown and pink in sizes 22-29 and is currently on sale for £39.95. This practical yet stylish ankle boot is made from supple leather, making it easy for the foot to move around and is flexible around the ankle area, making it easier for your child to bend her legs and move more freely. The sole is sturdy so these boots are sure to last the wet winter months and with the cute bow detailing on the front, who can resist them?

New Stock!

Here are some more of our winter warmers for you, lovely followers.

First up we have one of our most popular styles 'The Maxy.' We already stock this shoe in Fuschia, Baby Pink, Brown, Silver, Navy and Red but for Autumn / Winter 2010 we've received these two gorgeous new colours. Black Patent and Metallic Purple. Both retailing at £34.95 and available in sizes 24-31. They feature arch support - great for those with high insteps or just for those who need a softer interior. They also are made of a dyed through leather so if your child is scuff-prone you will only need minimal polish for them to be looking tip top once more. These shoes are a must have this Autumn / Winter. The colours are ideal for winter wardrobes and these shoes look great with tights in winter or ankle socks in Spring. A great all-round shoe.

Next up are two of our newer Converse styles. Jersey (right) and Star (left.) Star is available in sizes 5-2, priced at £34.95 and Jersey is available in sizes 10-3, priced at £38.00. House of Fraser 175 Anniversary

This month is House of Fraser's (or Kendalls as it has been renamed for this special month) 175th birthday and to celebrate, we have lots going on instore on all 6 floors.

Up here on the sixth floor we have already had a popcorn machine and Halloween creepy crawlie petting zoo, and here at One Small Step we are running a couple of little offers of our own to join in with the birthday spirit!

First off we are holding a colouring competition for all children who visit the 6th floor between now and 27th November. The prize is a pair of converse of your choice! So come up to One Small Step and get colouring! Sadly it won't allow us to upload the picture to our blog or Facebook page, so if you want to enter you will need to come instore and get an application yourself. But whilst here you could have a look at our converse shoes for some inspiration and who knows, maybe you'll even win a pair!

We are also currently holding an exclusive offer until 14th November whereby if you purchase ANYTHING from One Small Step (be it shoes, trainers, socks, wellies, tights or boots) totalling to £50 or over, you will receive a pair of our every popular Max & May canvas shoes worth £14.95 absolutely free!

As well as these two fabulous offers, we are also holding a double instore event on the weekend of Saturday & Sunday the 13th & 14th November - not only is Santa's Grotto opening to the public on Saturday the 13th. Santa will be arriving at 9am so get here early to meet him! Then at 12pm and again at 3pm, the ZingZillas will be here on the 6th floor, performing some of their songs at 12pm and meeting all of the children at 3pm. We hope you all come along as you will get a chance to meet Panzee, Zak, Drum and Tang!

The Grotto experience will involve meeting Santa himself, a Christmas gift and guests can also have their photograph taken with Santa for them to take home. Breakfast with Santa is also available. Bookings are currently being taken in advance for Santas Grotto so please call House of Fraser to avoid disappointment. Breakfast with Santa is also available for groups of children.
